McNair Farm is located in Athens, Texas.  It is a historic farm in East Texas which originally was a dairy and even had the 1873 Henderson County Jail located on the property.  Faye and Joe McNair and their family lived there for many years until Donnie Lewis purchased it in 1994 and began a 25 year remodeling project.  The main house has been enlarged to include a entertainment room with kitchen and the former smokehouse, has been transformed to the "McNair Farm Apothecary."  The Dairy Barn at McNair Farm has been totally remodeled which is now the venue building for events and parties.  The commercial kitchen was constructed to enable the staff to welcome guests to McNair Farm with  dinners and custom catering.
